When you rebuild a computer, you can either use the existing settings on the computer, or select a build template. The build template specifies custom settings which are applied to the computer when it is rebuilt, for example, the operating system, the disk structure, the disk size and partitions.
From the left-hand pane, expand Computers and choose All Computers.
From the right-hand pane, right-click the computer and from the menu, choose Tasks, Rebuild.
Specify whether you want to rebuild the computer using the current settings or a build template.
To get a new copy of the operating system from the server for the rebuild, tick the box.
Click the Options button.
At the 'Warning text' field, type the warning message that will be displayed at the computer before the task occurs.
At the 'Warning duration' field, specify how long the warning text will be displayed at the computer.
If you wish to rebuild the computer if a user is logged on, ensure the box is ticked.
If you wish to rebuild the computer if the computer is locked, ensure the box is ticked.
If you wish to turn the computer on to rebuild it, ensure the box is ticked.
Under Disconnected Computers, define what you want to do if the target computer is disconnected from the network.
Click OK to close the Task Options window.
If you wish to rebuild the computer at a later date, tick the 'Schedule this task' box and then click the Edit Schedule button. You are presented with a Schedule Task window where you can specify when the task will occur, whether it will recur, and when it will expire.
Click OK.
